Grandmas In Care Home Go ‘Wild’, Drink & Get Tattoos During Lockdown

One of the many important things that the pandemic has managed to teach us is how temporary and superficial most things are, things that we consider important. We run after security, stability, and luxury but in the course of doing so, we forget to breathe, take a minute, and enjoy the present moment.

What I’m basically trying to say is YOLO, so enjoy!

Like these bunch of senior citizens living in a care home in Texas, away from their families in the midst of a pandemic, who decided to enjoy life by drinking and getting tattoos!

According to a report by Times Now, the senior citizens living in Wesley House Assisted Living in Hillsboro, Texas, decided that they won’t get depressed because they were away from their loved ones and have limited days. Instead, they raised their spirits and engaged in some drinking and got temporary tattoos!

The staff, on the other hand, constantly watched over them and sanitised the tables and chairs. The residents took turns to enter the dining area and the tattoo station.

Pictures of the party were uploaded on Facebook by the care home and they wrote, “This quarantine has got us going wild! Had a few drinks and got tattoos!”
