India Will Get Its First Set Of Sea Pools In Visakhapatnam, That Too On 4 Beaches. WOW!

We are close to the point of having a very first sea pool in India. We have heard about them, seen the pictures, but now we will have one of our own.

First of its kind in India, Visakhapatnam will soon implement the construction of sea pools.

Sea pools are partially man-made elevated pools constructed on the beach with water filtered from the sea.

 

These pools will be constructed during a pilot project on four beaches, Mangamaripeta, Lawson’s Bay, Rushikonda and Sagaranagar. Based on the success of these pools, more pools will follow suit.

These pools are popular in South Africa and the United States of America where they are constructed to regulate water temperature and protect people from the attack of sharks.

 

A couple of weeks back, an incident at RK beach where five people drowned compelled the authorities to take immediate measures.

Let’s wait patiently for our first sea pool!
