For those of us who travel via public transport during office hours, we know what a pain lack of space can be inside a bus or the metro. Men dangling from buses is a regular sight and stuffed with 6 other people inside an auto is a nightmare.
The same scene is with local trains where we get goosebumps watching people hang from the entrance and we can only imagine how dangerous it can be.
A recent incident in Chennai was caught on camera where students of Ambattur ITI can be seen dangling from the train, scraping the platform surface with their legs.
According to sources, some students of ITI were travelling via the electric train from Chennai to Tiruvallur from Avadi station. There were enough seats for them to sit inside, but they chose to perform dangerous stunts instead.
Standing on the footboard, the guys can be seen chatting, hanging, some of them even sitting on windows with their heads near to the electric cables.

Several incidents like this have been recorded in the past and warnings have been issued multiple times by the police to ensure everyone’s safety.
Often we see videos of careless individuals hanging from the footboard and eventually getting caught in a brutal accident.
Please do not initiate or allow such behaviour. The boys don’t appear to know the risk they are putting themselves into!
