A Viral Social Media Post By A Dog Mommy Lands Her A Date With A Cute Dog Owner

Some of us often fail to find the objects that our mother’s skilfully tuck in our own houses. And here is this 24-year-old woman who landed herself a date with a cute guy, “the new daddy to a gorgeous little 7-week old Aussie puppy named Rosie”, two days after she posted a crushing Facebook post on a community information page.

Savannah Campbell is the lucky lady who ‘Shot her Shot’ on Facebook after being convinced by her friends, and bam, it worked. She met Daniel Vance (the cute guy) on a Sunday morning at a pet store in North Carolina where she was buying water bowls for her pet. She played with Rosie, “the adorable puppy with bright blue eyes and the cutest little face” but never exchanged names or number with her daddy.

“I called my girlfriend and told her all about the guy, but said that I didn’t get his name and number, and she said you didn’t shoot your shot,” Campbell tells PEOPLE.

“Some of it also probably was some friends being like ‘you know what? Go for it. You might as well.’ And I like to think every so often I’m a little bit ballsy, but it’s probably more than what I would have done,” Campbell said to Spectrum News North Carolina.

What happened next is all we wish for!

Campbell took to social media and decided to try her luck. She posted an elaborate plea on a neighbourhood Facebook page asking the whereabouts of the guy. She also mentioned another guy (Garrett Estes) Vance was with and a cute yellow lab he had.

This is what Campbell wrote on the page:

Shameless Request for a viral love story. I met a guy in a PETCO off of Capital Blvd in the Wake Forest area on Sunday, I didn’t catch his name but he is the new Daddy to a gorgeous little 7-week old Aussie puppy named Rosie. I went back into the store and told him to go next door to the TJ Maxx for extra discounted items for his new little baby. He was with another guy who had a super cute older yellow lab. I want to meet Rosie’s Dad again, I should have asked for his number and all my girlfriends yelled at me for not shooting my shot, SO IM SHOOTING MY SHOT. (I hope he doesn’t have a girlfriend ?—if so, YGG, he’s a stud) Help a girl out? ???

To no one’s surprise, the post was extensively shared and it reached Garrett Estes, Vance’s good friend and co-worker who shared the word with him.

“My phone started exploding and it was all kind of crazy and exciting. We started texting and we decided as soon as she got back from her business trip we would go out,” Vance told PEOPLE.

Vance posted on another community page saying that he was single and would love to meet Campbell.

The entire community was dedicatedly invested in finding the mystery man for Campbell and they were delighted to know that they finally met on Tuesday.

Campbell and Vance were able to meet and have been on one and a half date till now. Surprisingly, they didn’t have to go so far. They seem to live 3-minute away from each other.

‘Shoot your Shot’ ladies, you might meet your prince charming!!
