Let me know if you have heard this before. A group of archaeologists go to Egypt in search of sarcophagi that home the bodies of ancient Kings. They find one which was buried deep within the Earth so that it couldn’t be found. However, none of them take the cue and open it only to find an undead ruler unleashing a curse all over the world.
Sounds familiar? Because it’s the plot of the various iterations of ‘The Mummy’ and it’s about to happen in real life.
According to CNN, Egyptian archaeologists have unearthed an ancient sarcophagus that probably dates back to 305 BCE along with the bust of a man.
Now, let’s go over the warning signs. Firstly, that sarcophagus is made of black granite and black is never a good indication. Secondly, it’s over 6-feet tall and buried with a bust of a man and that means the thing inside is a big deal. And the most important detail is that the majority of these sarcophagi in Egypt have been looted, except this. Now, am I saying that nobody was able to steal it because of some ancient curse? Absolutely, because there’s no better explanation other than that.
Netizens saw this ungodly revelation and while some advised against opening it, others hilariously welcomed the apocalypse.

4. Now we have some positivity. No wait!
Look, I realize that by saying this I am dooming myself to be among the first victims of whatever ancient beast emerges from it, but I don't buy the idea that there's anything in that sarcophagus other than a very old mummy. OF COURSE they should open it.

There’s no doubt the archaeologists will open it because humans are curious creatures. But what do you think is going to come out of it? An ancient fart or a world-consuming curse?
