Bollywood actor Sanya Malhotra was able to make her way into our hearts right from her debut film ‘Dangal’ in 2016, and the rest is history.
But it’s not just acting that has a special place in her heart. The ‘Badhaai Ho’ actor also loves to groove to the music and can be seen posting several dance videos online.
However, looking at her thumkas and latkey jhatkey in the dance videos, it’s hard to believe that she was rejected by dance reality show judge Dharmesh Yelande six years ago.
Sanya recently spilled the beans, when she was at a dance reality show promoting her next film. In the video, she can be seen saying, “Life has come a full circle for me today.”
“Six years back, I had come to this studio for a dance-reality show audition and I did not clear it. And I remember, it was 1 a.m. in the night when I got free and I called my friend and said that I have not been able to get through and to come and pick me up. And you were there, Dharmesh sir. I was not able to clear it because of you. But now, I am here to promote my film.”
Dharmesh, who is the judge of the show, was awestruck listening to her and responded, “I think when you must have left from here that day, you would have left with a lot of courage and determination that ‘Mujhe ab karke dikhana hai’.”
