Humans have a habit of naming things after themselves so that even after they die, their name lives on. Hence we have foods like Graham Crackers, Cobb Salad, Nachos, Fettucine Alfredo and Eggs Benedict.
Now, people usually don’t care so much about those names, unless they want to impress someone and sound fancy. But when renowned chef Sanjeev Kapoor posted the recipe of Eggs Kejriwal, things got a little political.
Sanjeev Kapoor is known for posting simple recipes via his Twitter account. But the internet took special notice when he put up the method for making Eggs Kejriwal.

The dish itself is pretty simple to make. It requires a crisp toast with chopped onions, chillis, coriander leaves and a slice of cheese. And then it’s presented with a poached egg on top of it.
According to India.com, the dish is named after a businessman from the ’60s called Devi Prasad Kejriwal. But with election season looming over all us, netizens couldn’t help themselves from associating this meal with Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal.
