In India’s largely patriarchal society, occasions of chivalrous men publicly pleasing proud wives come few and far between. Akshay Kumar did it at the Vogue Beauty Awards last year when he read the most hilarious award acceptance speech Twinkle Khanna wrote for him. More recently, Ranveer Singh’s Best Actor Award Speech thanking his new bride Deepika left us all with major couple goals. This time around, it’s Sakshi Dhoni’s Instagram post of M.S. Dhoni patiently tying her shoes (complete with a sassy caption) that is winning the internet!

While her post gave most of us goosebumps, there were some who trolled her for it. Here’s the saga of how Sakshi trolled them right back!

Cricket fans were quick to comment! Some said it was extreme pride on her part to post the private picture, while others commended Dhoni’s humility. Then there were some, who irately remarked that she was having a ‘celebrity’ tie her shoes which wasn’t right.

This angry fan took the chance to question Sakshi’s status and social standing without Dhoni.
