The 15th of August this year is going to be a cracker. It’s Independence Day, of course, but also coincides with the Rakshabandhan festival. Even if you’re not planning a vacay (hello, extended weekend), there’s plenty to keep you entertained. Movies like Mission Mangal, Saaho and Batla House are premiering on that day and so is the popular series Sacred Games 2.
Directed by Anurag Kashyap and Neeraj Ghaywan, helmed by showrunner Vikramaditya Motwane, the second season has been much-anticipated. We’ll finally get to see Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Saif Ali Khan, Kubbra Sait, Pankaj Tripathi, Ranvir Shorey and Kalki Koechlin work their magic on screen.
