It has been over two months that world woke up to the horrible news of the murder of a seven-year-old. The student of Ryan International School, Bhondsi (Gurugram) was found murdered in school premises.
The class 2 student, Pradyuman Thakur, was found lying in a pool of blood inside a toilet on September 8.

It was earlier reported that school bus conductor, Ashok Kumar, attempted to have sex with the kid and when he refused, he slit his throat. He claimed he was being made a scapegoat in the case.

But, then, a class XI student was arrested by the CBI for having involvement in the crime, because he wanted to cancel the examinations and postpone the parent-teacher-meeting.
Now, it is being said that a student “from senior wing” had brought poison to school days before Pradyuman’s murder. The revelation came on the day a 16-year-old student of the school was taken into custody by the CBI as the prime suspect.
According to a Times of India report, a class 9 student had said that a senior student brought a bottle of poison to school and tried tricking students into drinking it.
Another class XI student confirmed the news and said that the class teacher was informed about it, but the matter was not taken seriously.
“A student informed the class teacher about the poison. We never heard from the teacher after that. We laughed it off and never thought he would actually try to kill somebody to defer an exam.”
Even a parent and a tutor (who is a school alum) confirmed that they heard the news of a student bringing poison to cancel examinations and postpone PTM.
But no action was taken and it was warded off as a prank. And, an innocent life was lost.
What the hell is wrong with that school and today’s youth? How is exam-phobia taking new heights? We are guessing “the student from the senior wing” is the same guy as arrested, but we are going to wait till the police confirm the same.
