Cricketer Rishabh Pant is a man of many talents. He’s a smashing left-handed batsman, a keen wicket-keeper and also a brilliant ‘babysitter‘. However, the 21-year-old player is not among the 15-member Indian squad selected for the World Cup. Fans were not happy about this exclusion when the team was announced. And their belief that he should have part of the brigade was confirmed in the IPL match between Delhi Capitals and Rajasthan Royals.
Ajinkya Rahane (RR) scored a fantastic century in 58 balls but he was overshadowed by Man of the Match, Rishabh Pant, for his unbeaten 78 off 36 balls. He led his team (DC) to victory and also the top of the points tally. The cricketer himself admitted at the post-match interview,
“I am feeling lovely. To make your team win in an important match is a good feeling. I won’t lie, the selection thought was running in my mind.”
