I don’t know about you, but when I was a little girl, I dreamt of being a princess. I am not trying to fodder any stereotypes, but it’s true. I wanted to be a princess who will one day meet her Prince Charming. But then I grew up.
And then Lorde, in her song ‘Royals‘, made it very clear to all of us that ‘we’ll never be royals’. And while that is true for most of us, it is obviously not true for the Suits star Meghan Markle.
Prince Harry announced his engagement to this beauty on 27th November 2017 and while I am slightly envious, I am ecstatic for the couple. I mean, look how perfect they look!

So just like the world celebrated Christmas yesterday with their loved ones, the royal family did too. And they accepted Meghan with arms wide open, making her the first person to be invited to a Royal Christmas lunch without officially being a part of the family.
Kensington Palace’s official Twitter posted a tweet announcing the two couples and Queen being present at Sandringham.
And the Queen also welcomed Meghan in her annual Christmas broadcast to London.
Here are the pictures from the royal affair (literally).
1. First, the Queen, in a bright orange ensemble.
2. Don’t they look lovely?
3. You can spot the two couples even in a crowd!
4. Sharing some personal experience?
5. Two Princes and their now-royal ladies.
 6. That smile, though.
7. Getting used to all the royal greetings.
8. Meghan didn’t let go of her Prince’s arm at all.

Transforming from a complete American to a perfect Royal, Meghan Markle fits into the royal family like a missing puzzle piece. And by the looks of it, it really was a merry Christmas at the royal household.
