The past few weeks were troubling times for every ‘Friends’ fan in the world. Why? Well, because Ross Geller was accused of stealing a ton of beer from a store in Blackpool, UK. Okay, not the Ross Geller, but a Ross Geller lookalike.
Last month, Blackpool police posted out a photo of a man who was caught stealing beer. And upon some high-brow inspection, netizens concluded that it was none other than Ross Geller.
Seeing that his character’s reputation was at stake, David Schwimmer tweeted a hilarious video to Blackpool police to let them know that he wasn’t guilty.

Finally, after weeks of anticipation, Blackpool police has finally cleared the confusion and thanked David Schwimmer for his assistance.
Following the appeal we posted looking for a man who resembles a well-known actor, we now have an update.
