Brazilian footballing legend Ronaldinho Gaucho stormed back in news yesterday after a report about his marriage made circles in the world of media. A story in Brazil’s O Dia newspaper claimed that the 2002 FIFA World Cup winner will tie the knots in August with not one, but two ladies at a time.
According to the reports, Ronaldinho marriage was all set to be a private affair with fiancees Priscilla Coelho and Beatriz Souza. While the 38-year-old started dating Beatriz in the year of 2016, he continued his affair with Priscilla, whom he proposed several years ago. The quote on the newspaper read,
“HE WILL MARRY THE TWO WOMEN AT A PRIVATE CEREMONY INSIDE THE SANTA MONICA CONDOMINIUM, IN THE POSH BARRA DA TIJUCA DISTRICT IN RIO WHERE HE HAS LIVED SINCE 2015.
DURING THE RIO CARNIVAL THIS YEAR, RONALDINHO HIRED A VIP BOX IN THE SAMBADROME TO WATCH THE PROCESSIONS AND TOOK BOTH WOMEN.”
However, in an amazing turn around of events, the former Barcelona midfielder has rubbished all reports of his marriage. Labeling the claims as “the biggest lie” Ronaldinho strictly confirmed that he is not going to get married. According to The Indian Express, he told SportTv,
“The whole world is calling me. I’m not going to get married, it is the biggest lie.”
