Most of us were introduced to Rohman Shawl through Sushmita Sen after the two started dating back in 2018. But last year, the two parted ways and Sushmita posted a rather graceful message on social media announcing that the two shall remain friends. So it can be said that Rohman Shawl understands his fair share of love, loss, and self-love.
He took to Instagram to share a rather touching video on relationships and finding happiness for yourself. He said that he went through many responses to #RohmanAsking and found that many people are upset with their relationships.

“Why are people in love so sad? You people expect too much out of your partners. I mean, your partner has so many things to do on their own, they have their lives. Don’t depend on them so much,” he said.
Giving a brief lesson on learning how to love yourself first, the model added:
“Learn to make yourself happy. First, learn how to feel complete within yourself and then look for a partner. Don’t find somebody to complete you because that will never be true.”

He further went on to express that he never understood the concept of expecting someone else to complete himself.
“I don’t know this concept of ‘somebody will complete me’. Nobody can complete you but you. Stop making the other person miserable. The onus is not on them to make you happy. It is your responsibility to make yourself happy,” he said.
