If I had to give out the ‘Best Dad Ever’ trophy to someone on the Indian cricket squad, I’d probably be confused between MS Dhoni and Rohit Sharma. The bond that these two fathers share with their daughters Ziva and Samaira is too cute for words. Be it Mahi and Ziva’s adorable conversation in six different languages or Rohit Sharma rapping to his baby girl, they never cease to warm my heart.
In Sunday’s IPL match between Mumbai Indians and Kolkata Knight Riders at Wankhede, skipper Rohit Sharma took his team to victory scoring an unbeaten 55 runs off 44 balls.
But it was his adorable gesture towards his daughter Samaira that is melting hearts online.

He celebrated his half-century by looking towards Samaira in the stands and cradling his bat like a baby. Check it out.

The win in the last league match put the team at the top of the points table. In a post-match interview, the winning captain said,
“Samaira has been here to watch me play multiple times. I wasn’t getting runs and today it felt good to get them for her, even though she was sleeping.”
Needless to say, cricket fans couldn’t stop gushing over him and his cute as a button daughter.

He is setting some serious #FatherGoals, don’t you think? Baby Samaira is going to be so proud of her daddy when she grows up.
