From Rivers Of Ice To Scenic Train Routes, People Share Videos Of The Road They Take To Work

Office commutes are a drag. Especially for the urban population living in metropolitan cities like Mumbai and Bangalore. Potholes on roads, vehicles flouting rules and traffic jams are so commonplace that a survey by IWG Global Workspace showed that 61% of the Indian workforce wants their commuting time to be included in working hours.

But what if the #RoadToWork was so beautiful that you actually enjoyed the journey and reached office supercharged and raring to go?

According to The Indian Express, IAS Supriya Sahu, Principal Secretary & CEO, Tamil Nadu Small Tea Growers’ Industrial Cooperative Tea Factories’ Federation Limited, recently shared a video of the scenery she encounters every day while going to work. The picturesque road is in the Nilgiris, Tamil Nadu.

From rivers of ice to scenic train routes in hill stations, other people started posting snippets of the road they take to work. Take a look.

While not calming or pretty, office-goers encountering traffic snarls also posted about their #RoadToWork. Desi Twitter’s self-deprecating humour is on point, don’t you think?
