Rishi Kapoor Passes Away At 67, Breathes His Last At A Mumbai Hospital

We were still recovering from the sad and untimely demise of actor Irrfan Khan when news of another veteran Bollywood star being hospitalized came to the surface. According to NDTV, 67-year-old Rishi Kapoor was admitted to H N Reliance hospital, Mumbai, yesterday.

Randhir Kapoor was quoted saying, “He is in the hospital. He is suffering from cancer and he has some breathing problem, so he has been admitted to the hospital. He is stable now.”

According to The Indian Express, after being on ICU support, the actor breathed his last today. He had been battling cancer since 2018 and had even gone to New York for treatment with wife Neetu Kapoor.

After appearances in movies like ‘Shree 420’ and ‘Mera Naam Joker’, he went on to deliver many hits like ‘Bobby‘, ‘Chandni’, ‘Amar Akbar Anthony’, ‘Agneepath’ and many more. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family at this difficult time.
