Rishi Kapoor Asks Govt To Open Licensed Liquor Stores, Gets Mixed Response From People Online

Rishi Kapoor wears his heart on his sleeves. With his tongue-in-cheek humour and tales of losing his temper, the yesteryear star never shies away from expressing his thoughts on social media.

Recently, in one of his tweet-ventures, the veteran actor suggested that the government should open up licensed liquor shops amid the 21-day lockdown, reports News18. He was of the opinion that people should have access to liquor for a brief period in the evenings.

According to Hindustan Times, the Mulk actor felt that cops, doctors and the general public would need alcohol to take the edge off during these troubled times. He also mentioned that state governments could use the extra cash from the excise duties collected.
