Rishabh Pant Sledges Pat Cummins For An Entire Over, Hilarious Comments Caught On Stump Mic

Apart from the tremendous quality of cricket on display, an India-Australia series always comes packed with intense on-field banters. However, with Aussie heavyweights Steve Smith and David Warner serving their year-long ban and Virat Kohli promising to be a ‘changed individual’, the ongoing series was expected to be a comparatively quiet one.

But, we have been proved wrong once again, thanks to Indian wicket-keeper Rishabh Pant.

The 21-year-old rookie, who is on his first tour to Australia as a member of the senior team, seemed to be high on his adrenaline! In a bid to get under the skin of his oppositions, Pant took his verbal blows to Aussie pacer Pat Cummins on Day-5 of the first Test.

When Cummins was batting with skipper Tim Paine at the non-striker’s end, Pant got his provocative acts on point by mocking the lanky pacer for not putting the bad ball away. His rant continued for a whole over and was caught on the stump mic.

“Come on Pat – you’re not putting the bad ball away! Tough to play here.”

However, the Netizens were divided in opinion over the left-hander’s cheeky mind games. While some thoroughly enjoyed his comments, the others termed him as an annoying bloke!

Right or wrong, Rishabh Pant has definitely mastered the art of playing mind games, early in his career!
