Richa Chadha Opens Up About Being A Migrant; Says We All Must Have A Survival Plan

A few days back, Richa Chadha had owned up to a mistake she made back in 2018. The Bollywood actor, who has always been vocal about social issues, earned massive respect from people after she apologized for making a joke about someone being ‘bipolar’.

Speaking of which, the ‘Masaan’ actor recently spoke about how people easily judge and politicize things nowadays, reports HT. She was quoted saying,

“Things I say are often politicized without understanding the real intention. Yes, I want to know about the condition of our health system, economy, etc because all these would affect my loved ones too. I’m also a migrant. Since I’m in a better position than many others doesn’t mean I can’t ask questions.”

Speaking about the pandemic, she said that she believes one needs both strength and humor to beat it. The actor feels her social media posts, which are a mixture of both fun and serious things, reflect who she is as a person.

The 33-year-old says we need to be prepared as there’s more to come. She added, “So many offices, small businesses, studios have shut. People are going out of work. We saw people dying due to hunger. ”

“We all must figure out a survival plan for this year at least. I don’t know after all the trouble these migrants faced if they’d come back to work. If they don’t, how would these factories survive.”

The actor feels now is the time for us to help each other. She mentioned how it’s good that “the world over people are questioning systems” as it is helping to start a discussion that can bring a change.

However, on the other hand, she is irked how some people are taking things so lightly. She said, “Every time I go out for grocery shopping, I do tell people to stand apart, wear masks. Forgetting such things in current times can be lethal.”

Taking precautionary measures and following social distancing norms is very important in the current scenario. Don’t you think so? Tell us.
