The word around the block is that Kangana Ranaut’s ‘Dhaakad’ is a flop, as far as box office numbers are concerned. According to The Indian Express, on the first two days of its opening, it managed to earn only Rs 1.5 crore. This is being considered very low because the film was made on a considerable budget with special visual effects.

While many Kangana Ranaut fans have been left disappointed with the performance of the film at the box office, many are also celebrating its failure. Here’s a look at some of the tweets:
On the trailer launch of Dhaakad (or some song release may be, I don't remember), Kangana laughed and joked about houses of people being bulldozed. One of the many reasons I'm happy about the film's failure.

She mocked Alia’s relationship with Ranbir, mocked her movies, cursed her for failure. Her fans even compared alia’s wedding dresses to spoil her big day. Aa gya karma ka swaad #Dhaakad is #kanganaRanaut’s 25th flop movie 😂

warms my heart seeing #Dhaakad fail miserably at the box office and being #KanganaRanaut’s 8th flop in a row 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Jealousy from Alia Bhatt and other nepo kids has taken her to failure and nothing else. Karma hits b#tch and it hits hard ✌️

#Dhaakad public reviews and Tweets are hilarious 😂
Used to like #KanganaRanaut𓃵 but when you constantly wish only bad things and failure for your own fraternity who are maintaining a dignified silence, this monumental disaster is no surprise. Very well deserved— . (@LetttIttGo) May 21, 2022
#BhoolBhulaiyaa2 is doing wonderful. Excellent bookings.👌👌
Meanwhile farzi queen's #Dhaakad's booking is very poor.#KanganaRanaut aunty will blame on movie mafia and multiplexes for failure and later release on ott soon and will say ott's most viewed movie..😂😂🤣🤣

On the other hand, many have been slamming those celebrating the alleged failure of the film. It was highlighted how one failed film doesn’t define the talent of an actor and that failures and successes are just a part of life.
One of these people was Bigg Boss contestant Tehseen Poonawalla.
The trolling of #KanganaRanaut for her movie #Dhaakad is extremely unfair! We may agree or disagree with #KanganaRanaut but cannot take away from the fact she is one of the best actors in cinema today and a risk taker.
More power to you #KanganaRanaut.— Tehseen Poonawalla Official 🇮🇳 (@tehseenp) May 23, 2022
But journalist Swati Chaturvedi thought that people were only saying the truth.
That’s ridiculous. The audience has rejected a bad film which is going zero in shows. Telling the truth is trolling? Really
— Swati Chaturvedi (@bainjal) May 23, 2022
To this, Tehseen replied:
No! The celebration of a movie flopping is not good !

It was then when Richa Chadha, who has been attacked several times in the past by Kangana Ranaut’s team, said that it’s a way for people for showing their dissent.
Aligning with power is easy and has obvious rewards like tax exemptions, awards, special status, security-even literally the Legislature promoting a film!So do you not know that the reverse also holds true Tehseen?Ppl are expressing dissent in whatever way they can. So chill😊 https://t.co/puHPeUS9nt

She further added that the response received by Kangana is an “unfortunate consequence” of her past actions to malign the name of the film industry.
Very systematically, a narrative was built that the film industry in Mumbai is the den of all vice. People here are murderous etc. Many people participated in this narrative building. Now some others celebrating other ppl's downfalls is an unfortunate consequence of that. https://t.co/aiP3vwRb5C pic.twitter.com/hbQRs9nC8E

Do you think it is fair to shame Kangana for Dhaakad’s performance?
