Richa Chadha Defends Those Celebrating Kangana’s ‘Dhaakad’ Failure, Calls It ‘Dissent’

The word around the block is that Kangana Ranaut’s ‘Dhaakad’ is a flop, as far as box office numbers are concerned. According to The Indian Express, on the first two days of its opening, it managed to earn only Rs 1.5 crore. This is being considered very low because the film was made on a considerable budget with special visual effects.

While many Kangana Ranaut fans have been left disappointed with the performance of the film at the box office, many are also celebrating its failure. Here’s a look at some of the tweets:

On the other hand, many have been slamming those celebrating the alleged failure of the film. It was highlighted how one failed film doesn’t define the talent of an actor and that failures and successes are just a part of life.

One of these people was Bigg Boss contestant Tehseen Poonawalla.

But journalist Swati Chaturvedi thought that people were only saying the truth.

To this, Tehseen replied:

It was then when Richa Chadha, who has been attacked several times in the past by Kangana Ranaut’s team, said that it’s a way for people for showing their dissent.

She further added that the response received by Kangana is an “unfortunate consequence” of her past actions to malign the name of the film industry.

Do you think it is fair to shame Kangana for Dhaakad’s performance?
