Ranveer Singh Reveals He Knew Deepika Would Be Mother Of His Children 6 Months Into Dating

Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone, DeepVeer to their fans, have set the bar way too high for fairytale romances coming true. The couple’s super-secret wedding in Lake Como, Italy, gave us a lot of FOMO, but when the pictures finally came out, all we had were a constant stream of “Awwwww”s for the two!

Mrs and Mr Ranveer Singh Bhavnani are now just setting one #CoupleGoal after another with their triple receptions, the third of which is slated to be the grandest and most star-studded.

The first one was held in Bengaluru, followed by a party in Mumbai thrown by Ranveer’s sister. The second reception was recently held in Mumbai.

In an interview with Filmfare, Baba spilled the tea on his eagerness to tie the knot, but patiently waiting for his lady love to be ready for it.

“I’ve been ready for a while.I’ve been thinking about marriage seriously for almost three years now. I was just waiting for Deepika to be ready. It would happen whenever she had decided. I was fully ready and raring to go.”

The couple began dating while filming Ram-Leela. During the six years of their relationship, they gave their fans oodles of Insta PDA to gush over. Not to mention, the movies they did together!

So when did Ranveer realise Deepika was the one for him?

“Six months into the relationship, I knew she was the one. I nurtured the relationship accordingly.”

And when she finally did, the couple managed to pull off a private wedding at one of the most stunning locations in the world!

On choosing Lake Como for their wedding destination, Ranveer revealed how he wanted Deepika to have whatever she wanted.

“I too deserve happiness and my happiness comes from her happiness. It’s that simple.”

Well said, Baba! After all, the bride always gets veto on every decision about her special day!

Ufff! Ranveer Singh, the husband, is already setting such high standards for other men! And if you tell him Deepika is a lucky girl to have him, he tells you he’s the lucky one!
