Memes have been made, jokes have been cracked, FIRs have been registered and hell broke loose after Ranveer Singh dared to go nude for a photo shoot for Paper Magazine. Complainants of the FIRs have claimed that his pictures “insulted the modesty of women” and were guilty of “hurting women’s sentiments”.
And now, lawyer Vedika Chaubey, who is one of the complainants of the FIR filed against actor Ranveer Singh, went as far as to call it a “national issue”.

In a television news debate organized by NDTV, Vedika Chaubey was a panellist and when asked about what is so “vulgar” about Ranveer Singh’s pictures, she explicitly mentions that she can see his “bum”.
“Of course this is vulgar, we can see his bum. His video is with me he is completely nude in that video. I don’t know how many people will understand that thing,” she said, while the debate host laughs.
“You may laugh madam but this is a national issue,” Chaubey goes on to say.
