A lot of B-Town celebrities take to social media to share their day-to-day updates with their fans. Actor Randeep Hooda also took to the platforms, but in a very positive and inspiring way.
He posted photos and videos of his cleanliness drive at Versova Beach in Mumbai. He captioned the post as, “This is the backyard of humanity and it’s not pretty..being a #Safaikarmachari (cleaning worker) to clean my backyard helping the tireless #frontlineworkers in the #MumbaiRains maintaining #SocialDistancing #masks let’s start respecting #MotherNature ?? what is your backyard?”
As highlighted in the caption, he and his friends wore masks and followed all necessary safety precautions owing to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. He re-iterated the same on Twitter sharing other photos from the day.

After garnering praise for his efforts, Hooda followed up this sentiment with another inspirational Instagram post encouraging his fans to take such initiatives for the betterment and well-being of our environment.
The actor has constantly proven to be a good samaritan in the past as well. This isn’t the first time he has stepped up to clean the Versova beach. He earlier took part in another cleanliness drive of the same beach in 2017 after the Ganesh Chaturthi Visarjan. In addition to that, he also helped provide 125,000 liters of water to drought-stricken villages in Maharahtra.
