Social distancing norms are still in place and we avoid inviting guests over to our homes as we did before. However, there are some visitors that we have no complaints about i.e. birds.
Actor Randeep Hooda recently shared a video of his balcony bird feeder and a parrot enjoying the treat. He went on to mention how his winged guests bring so much joy and also teach his pet dog to enjoy the view instead of chasing them away.
Ever since I have put the bird feeder my life has become so enriched with my daily visitors in the shape of Parrots and house sparrows .. here trying to teach my pup to not chase the birds away and enjoy the view of them feeding.. she has started To love it #SaveBirdsServeNature pic.twitter.com/l6o1tVLHgy

Thereafter, many people responded by sharing images of house sparrows and pigeons that visit their homes and how their chirping is the best alarm ringtone. Take a look.
During #COVID19 – in my balcony – wild and free sparrows in their urban habitat – make this nest house their home
No volunteers in my house for past 4 months
But this new group of volunteers – a family of Sparrows
They eat
They jump
They love
They give love back to me. pic.twitter.com/3PryHfxbe4

During the lockdown, we got to see a lot of different birds and animals. Hopefully, we can retain this part of nature in our ‘new normal’.
