Ayodhya’s Ram Temple Hosts An Iftaar Meal For Muslim Brothers, Sending A Message Of Love & Harmony!

Ayodhya keeps hitting headlines every now and then, most of the times for communal disputes. But Shri Sita Ram temple in the city decided to give these disputes a break and came up with an idea to send a message of harmony to the world.

The temple authorities hosted an Iftar meal for all the Muslim brothers who are fasting during Ramzan.

“This is the third time we have organized an Iftar party. I will continue to do the same in the future as well. We should celebrate every festival with great zeal,” the temple priest, Yugal KIshor said reports NDTV.

Mujammil Fiza, one of the persons present at the Iftar meal in the temple premises also said that they often celebrate festivals together including Navratri.

“People with an agenda do not want communities to come together and hold an event like this. In a country where people play politics in the name of religion, people like Yugal Kishor send out a message of love,” he said.

Muslims fast from sunrise to sunset during Ramzan. They begin their ‘roza’ with Sehri and end it with Iftar. Amidst such communal imbalance in the city, a move like this certainly comes a positive sign.
