Papaya For ₹5000, Chili For ₹1000, Ram Rahim Sold Vegetables At Ridiculous Prices In Dera

As days are passing, things about ex Dera Sacha Sauda Chief, Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh, are coming out in the day’s light. After his conviction as a rapist in cases of sexual assault on Sadhvis, Babaji and news of all the wrongdoings that happened inside the Dera Sacha Sauda headquarters have shocked everyone.

Said to be a Godman, Papa Coach, talented actor and a man equalling an oozing talenthouse, the multi-faceted Babaji had a keen interest in farming too. The veggies he grew were sold off at exorbitant prices. Hearing which, our jaws seem to have become detached from our upper ones.

As reported by Nai Duniya, vegetables sold at Dera’s Sirsa HQ were priced per piece and were quoted to be crazy. Like, a piece of capsicum cost anything between ₹500-2000 and once 100 grams jaggery was sold at ₹1.25 Lakh.

That’s not all!

According to a Daily Post video, in the name of charity, the price tag on the vegetables was sky-high.

A regular Papaya cost ₹5000, a single green chilly for ₹1000, 5 grams of peas for ₹1000, 2 pieces of tomatoes came for ₹1000, Brinjal prices varied between ₹1000 to ₹2000 per piece (depending on the size).

? ?

There were people called bhangidars who used to deliver the veggies to the devotees’ houses. Sometimes the cost of the vegetables would go up to 100 times the basic cost.

This is so crazy. All this in the name of charity and religion?

Can someone please look for my jaw? I seem to have misplaced it.
