“Tanushree Dutta Is A Lesbian, Raped Me 12 Years Ago,” Says Rakhi Sawant In Press Conference

Rakhi Sawant’s courts controversy like it’s her middle name. Whether it’s her media interviews or the videos she posts on her Instagram page, you’ll always find something that’ll make you uncomfortable. The question of whether there’s any truth in her claims gets drowned in the drama that her statements come heavily coated in. It’s probably the reason why people dismiss them as attention seeking tactics.

Rakhi has managed to quite actively inject herself in the Tanushree Dutta #MeToo situation.

Though it all began when Tanushree called out Rakhi for badmouthing her when the latter replaced her for the ‘Horn Ok Pleassss’ item song she had walked out of.

Since then, Rakhi has managed to trash all of Tanushree’s claims about Nana Patekar, called her #MeToo story a publicity stunt, and level a few allegations of her own. The two women are now engaged in an ugly war of words, with Tanushree having already filed a 10 crore defamation lawsuit against Rakhi for her ‘publicity stunt’ remark.

Recently, in a series of videos posted on her Instagram, Rakhi has challenged to file a defamation lawsuit of 50 crores in return.

And now, in yet another explosive press conference, Rakhi Sawant has called Tanushree Dutta a ‘lesbian’ who raped her 12 years ago.

“What do you think Tanushree Dutta shaved her hair off for? She is not a woman, she is completely a man on the inside.”

Claiming Tanushree was her best friend 12 years ago, Rakhi went on to talk about how Tanushree had taken her to rave parties back then and forced her to smoke weed. It is during one of those parties that Rakhi alleges Tanushree raped her.

“I’m not here just to answer media’s questions. I’m here to tell my own story. Only men don’t rape. Even a woman can. She has touched my private parts.”

You can watch the entire interview here.

The #MeToo movement is all about believing the survivours, believing her. In the above scenario, however, the media interviewing her and the people watching it seem to be having a harder than usual time doing so.
