US Official Fired And A Mayor Resigned After Calling Michelle Obama An ‘Ape In Heels’

The Obamas are always in news. Recently, it was POTUS Barack Obama who made the headlines with his VPOTUS Joe Biden when the Internet came up with the most hilarious of memes. While that is still spreading like wild fire (for all the right reasons), Michelle Obama’s name has made it into one!

After the historic US election night 2016–where America chose Donald Trump as the President-elect, the social media (read Twitter, Facebook) has been a witness to all the uproar there has been. But there is one post that is downright disgusting!

Pamela Ramsey Taylor, director of the Clay County Development Corp, West Virginia, took to Facebook and left a racist remark targeting FLOTUS Michelle Obama.

Needless to say, she was removed from her job following a severe backlash.

However, things turned ghastly when the mayor of West Virginia town, Beverly Whaling got her hands dirty, adding a comment that led to her resignation. 

The comments were later deleted as were both women’s Facebook pages when mass fury in thousands circulated on the net. However, later Beverly issued an apology explaining herself and her comment.

‘I was referring to my day being made for change in the White House! I am truly sorry for any hard feeling this may have caused! Those who know me know that I’m not in any way racist!’

But the harm is done! How do you undo that?
