26 Feet Python Wraps Itself Around Villager, Deadly Rescue Video Goes Viral

With the capability to grow a whopping 30 ft or more in length, Pythons are known to be among the largest living snakes in this world. Though the giant species is relatively calm and quiet in nature, the deadly grip of the snake is equal to being crushed by a bulldozer.

And this brings us to an incident, where some Indonesian villagers had a deadly encounter with a monster python.

In a video that is going viral on social platforms, a bunch of Indonesian people can be seen struggling to release one of their mates from the resilient grasp of the snake. It all started with the villagers spotting the snake and thinking it to be a log lying by the river. However, when one of them touched the animal, it wrapped itself around his ankles.

The incident took place in Pucuang Anam village in Sumatra, an island in Indonesia and has been shot by villager Ronal Efendi Coto.

After an exhausting hustle with the snake, the villagers finally managed to put it inside a cage. According to NDTV, they went onto ask a zoo to keep the 26-feet (8 meters) long animal only to be refused because of its enormous size.

“For now we are just keeping it in the cage so people can come and have a look.”
