Gamers Fearing PUBG Ban Flood Twitter With Memes As 275 Chinese Apps Come Under Scanner

“Aaj khush to bahut hoge aap?” This is what my brother asked my dad after his favorite mobile game PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds aka PUBG was put under the scanner in India. After banning 59 Chinese apps including TikTok and Shein, the Indian government has now put another 275 Chinese owned apps under scrutiny, reports India Today.

According to News18, some apps including the massively popular multiplayer game PUBG might get banned as they are “engaged in activities which are prejudicial to sovereignty and integrity of India, defense of India, the security of the state and public order.” For obvious reasons, gamers were not too happy with this new development. In fact, many users took to social media to hilariously express their grief and disapproval over the news.
