With all the concerning attention that the video game has drawn to itself, PUBG Mobile has decided to curb the addiction by restricting the play-time.

While an official statement from PUBG Mobile hasn’t been received, screenshots of the play-time restriction notification have been making rounds on the internet.

PUBG in India now has a play-time restriction of 6 hours.

This means that once you have played for six hours, you will be unable to play further and will receive a notification, under the title ‘Health Reminder’, asking you to come back the next day and resume the game.

According to sources, players under the age of 18 will receive a notification four and two hours before they reach their 6-hour curfew.

Though this may cause a lot of anguish to all PUBG enthusiasts, it comes as a huge relief to parents and family members ensuring a balance between study and play for their kids and also helps in maintaining proper mental health.
