A 37-year old from Bengaluru, who is addicted to watching porn, came across a video clip on the internet last month. While that’s absolutely normal, what happened next is something out of the ordinary.
After watching the video clip, he was more than convinced that the woman in it was none other than his wife, whom he married six years ago. The 31-year old woman, who is also pregnant with their second child, was then subjected to mental and physical torture by the husband.
According to Times of India, the man is a resident of east Bengaluru who works as a delivery person with an e-commerce portal.
To prove that it was his wife who had sex with the man in the video, he dragged Laxmi to the Bengaluru city police commissioner recently. What made the man stand firm on his doubt is the fact that the woman in the clip and his wife, had similar moles on their bodies.
The police sent the couple to Vanitha Sahayavani (women’s helpline) on Infantry Road for counseling. The organisation then took the help of the cyber crime wing to find out if the woman in the clip was actually his wife.
Even after the wing confirmed that it was not his wife who was in the video, the man remained strong with his claim. As a result, the counsellers suggested him to take the help of psychiatric treatment and Nimhans.
With the man still accusing the police of failing to examine the case properly, his wife has left for her hometown of Andhra Pradesh. The counsellers believe that the man’s extremely low trust in his wife and his obsession with porn may be the reason behind his conjecture.
