Internet is a dangerous place to be! All your statements, movements and gestures are stored in the record for a lifetime. So, asserting new things that conflict the past statements can land you in soup, a major one! Whether you are a Bollywood celeb or the Prime Minister of India, netizens do not spare anyone at all!

Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently released a book on former PM Chandra Shekhar written by the deputy chairman of Rajya Sabha Harivansh and Ravi Dutt Bajpai.

The book titled Chandra Shekhar – The Last Icon of Ideological was launched at an event held at Balayogi Auditorium in the Parliament House. During the book launch, Narendra Modi claimed to have met Chandra Shekhar back in 1977 at Delhi airport.

“I met him at Delhi airport, I was traveling with Bhairon Singh Shekhawat Ji. The two leaders enjoyed a close bond despite their different political ideologies,” he said in a statement.

His word came contradictory to the claims that he has made in the past as he has said that he left home in 1969 and used to sell tea and lived in Himalayan forests for years.

The result? PM Modi once again became a prey to the online trolls.

This isn’t the first time that PM Modi has come under the radar of trolls, in a recent interview he also claimed to have begged for food 35 years ago. On the other hand, he has claimed to use a digital camera in 1980 and e-mails in 1985!

Just like most of the citizens of our country, we too wonder, why our PM’s history timeline is so confounding?

What say, mitron?
