Everybody loves pizza.
All its curves and all its edges. All its perfect imperfections…Â
But I digress. Today isn’t about the cheesy wonder that is pizza. It is about the delivery guys who brave traffic and the weather to get it for us when we’re too lazy to step out ourselves. How many times do we thank them for their efforts? Unfortunately, the only time we interact with them is to yell when they’re late or if the food is cold. Let’s change that, shall we? Let’s be more compassionate towards delivery personnel. Just like this man.
Reddit user @exsisto shared his delivery fail story and how he ‘punished’ the driver who was responsible for messing up his pizza.

Didn’t see that coming, did you? The customer in question had this to say for his amusing ‘punishment’, “The guy delivers pizza for a living. His life is hard enough. He really was a good dude… When I got the return text from the manager, I did not want the guy to get into trouble over it. I think it all worked out for the best.”
Netizens thought it was great that he dealt with the situation so nicely. Some though (myself included), were left wondering how he could say no to the complimentary pizza.
The incident certainly drives home the idea that customers should appreciate delivery guys more and be empathetic. And if they mess up, there’s always the option to make them stand in a corner and say, “Stay there and think about what you’ve done.” 🙂
