Karnataka NGO’s ‘Pishachini Mukti Puja’ Seeks To Rid India Of Feminism That’s Apparently A ‘Disease’

Pind Daan is a part of the last rights performed in Hinduism after the death of a loved one. It is a mandatory ritual performed to bring salvation to the departed souls. And, ‘Pishachini Mukti Puja’ is performed to drive away the evil and demons.

Many Bollywood movies and Indian daily soaps have often shown upset and disappointed parents performing the ‘Pind Daan’ of their living son or daughter to show that they have disowned them.

Well, if all this sounds super dramatic to you, brace yourselves!

A Karnataka NGO called ‘Save Indian Family’ which apparently works to promote gender equality and family harmony in the state recently came up with an idea to tackle the evilest thing happening on the planet right now. No, it’s not climate change!

They performed a Pind daan and Pisachini Mukti Puja to eradicate feminism, which is, (as per them) destroying our country.

The poster of the ‘puja’ which shows ‘death of #MeToo movement’ is doing the rounds on social media. They also mention how men are being wrongly framed due to the new era of ‘digital-mob-lynching.

And, no rewards for guessing, how netizens are reacting. They are certainly laughing hard! Have a look:

“Feminism in India is no longer about gender equality. It is only about seeking female dominance and oppressing men. Feminists only care about rights without any responsibilities. They want equality but they use men,” a spokesperson from SIF Karnataka told News18.

“The puja is symbolic for us. It will help get rid of this cancer (feminism); to us, the #MeToo movement is rakshasa and needs to be eradicated. Feminism is why families are breaking at the drop of a hat in India. It is destroying the cohesion that holds families together,” he explained.

“We might do it again in order to eradicate the evil that is feminism,” he concluded.

This has seriously got me rolling on the floor laughing. I wonder what’s next, a puja to get rid of women’s education or women entirely! What are your thoughts on the matter?
