Man Called Period Pain A ‘Myth’ And Women Of Twitter Virtually Kicked Him In The Sack!

Amongst all the pain a woman endures in her life time, menstrual pain is arguably the most hushed and the most ignored one. I know this because I am one and I say this because period pain is not just the physical discomfort but a million other things including the stigma attached to it.

While the conversation about its awareness is just getting started, there are still people who alienate it as a ‘myth’. Who, in the right mind could say that? Let’s just say you’re about to meet one.

A certain Twitter user who goes by the handle @goldenconceptng recently voiced a misconception that feminists and gender rights activists are trying to fight. He tweeted,

I mean isn’t it, 2017? Are we regressing with each passing day! If I haven’t been clear earlier; period pain can be as debilitating as other pains and it needs to be voiced without any pre-conceived notions. Please?
