A Delhi Railway Station Offers Free Platform Tickets To Those Who Perform Squats

Indian railways time and again come up with several interesting initiatives. From turning railway coaches into classrooms for underprivileged students to hiring a Yamraj to stop people from crossing the railway lines, Indian railways go hand in hand with innovation.

In one such peculiar but impressive attempt, Delhi’s Anand Vihar railway station has installed a squat machine. The machine dispense a free platform ticket to those who perform squats, reports IE.

Sharing the video of the same, Railway Minister Piyush Goyal wrote that the machine has been installed to promote fitness.

The one of a kind initiative has left Desi Twitter impressed. Here’s what people have to say about the concept:

The initiative certainly looks promising. We hope they bring the same for journey tickets too, what say?
