The only thing that is worse than spending the whole day at work is buried deep amid a sea of passengers in public transport, especially during this pandemic. But the visuals you are about to see are even more exhausting.
As per a report in The Indian Express, after a Peshawar Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) vehicle broke down mid-journey on the main corridor near the Adbara station, passengers had to de-board and push their ride forward.

Times Now reports that the high-quality bus-based transit system, costing Rs 69 billion, had already been in the news for its accidents as well as corruption allegations. Reportedly, as many as 5 buses have broken down and failed to kick off the streets of Pakistan since the project launched.

Following the unfortunate incident, a spokesperson of the TransPeshawar said, “A minor fault had occurred on the bus near Abdara station. There are alternate buses in case of an emergency.” They claimed that backup engineers and experts were present at several stations.
But Twitter opened the floodgates with its memes and jokes, trolling the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government for failing to provide quality transport buses to the residents of Peshawar. Check it out:

Peshawar BRT is promoting healthy lifestyles and fitness.
After all the chapli kebabs and charsi tikkas, the citizens of Peshawar need solid workouts.
