Pakistani Kid Crossed LOC By Mistake, Indian Army Sent Him Back With Sweets & Clothes

Have you ever felt the joy of doing a selfless good deed? It feels amazing! Being the reason of someone’s happiness. The unexpected happiness that comes to you on seeing a smile on someone’s face and knowing that you are the cause of it makes you feel pretty damn good.

Our Indian army did a similar good deed last Saturday. An 11-year-old Pakistani boy named Kayani had crossed the Line Of Control (LOC) by mistake and had reached India. He is a resident of Pakistan-occupied Kashmir and reached India inadvertently. The boy was taken into safety by the army officials. Soon, they contacted the Pakistan base via the hotline and informed them about the safety of the boy.

A flag meeting was soon organised between the troops of both the countries and the boy was returned safely to his home. The Indian troops also gifted him new clothes and sweets as a farewell present.

“Army officials in Tangdhar sector handed over 11-year-old Sameer Kayani, son of Mohammad Rafiq of Laswa Athmuqam in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, who had inadvertently crossed the LoC, to Pakistan Army officials,” said defence spokesman, Lt.Col. N.N. Joshi.

“The boy was handed over by the unit based at Tanghdar frontier area at Teetwal crossing point with new clothes and sweets for the family,” he added.

We are so proud of the Indian army. Not only are they protecting the nation, they are also setting an example for others by restoring faith in humanity.
