Pakistan Takes 5 Runs Off One Ball Against New Zealand While Commentators & Coach LOL

Cricket seems like a pretty straightforward. One team bowls and the other team hits the ball and takes runs, while the opponent tries to restrain them from doing so. But sometimes anomalies do occur.

A few days ago it was UP bowler, who took the concept of spin-bowling too seriously and left the internet LOL-ing. And this time it’s the entirety of the New Zealand men’s cricket team that is here to give you a chuckle.

Recently, Pakistan took on New Zealand in Dubai. They were playing their third and final ODI, and then something truly hilarious happened off of Trent Boult’s delivery.

No, no, the delivery wasn’t the problem. That was flicked away by Faheem Ashraf very comfortably. The comedy of errors ensued when the fielder at deep square-leg threw the ball to Tom Latham, who in turn hurled it at the bowling end.

As Boult didn’t catch it, Ashraf and Asif Ali took their fourth run. And since Latham failed to get a hold of the ball properly, the Pakistani batsmen took a fifth run, leaving the coach and the commentators in splits.

Pakistan had high hopes as it was their chance to register their first ODI series win against the New Zealanders. However, those hopes were washed by a downpour. But now they have this footage of them taking five runs off of one ball to look at and feel good about.
