Pakistanis Slam Their Minister For Calling Hindus ‘Cow Urine-Drinking People’ And ‘Idol Worshippers’

In a world where people are literally looking for a reason to discriminate, the age-old rivalry between Hindus and Muslims is a sad but prevailing truth. It is outright surprising how we fail to understand and keep humanity above all and are making religious coexistence a crumbling illusion.

And if there is someone who is waving the flag of religious intolerance high and above, it is Pakistan’s Punjab Information and Culture Minister, Fayyazul Hassan Chohan.

In the clip going viral, Chohan can be seen launching a scathing attack at the Hindus. Disrespecting the religion, the 48-year-old went on to term the Hindus as “cow urine-drinking people” and “idol worshippers”.

“We are Muslims and we have a flag, the flag of Maula Alia’s bravery, and flag of Hazrat Umara’s valour. You don’t have that flag, it isn’t in your hands.”

Chohan is also a member of Pakistani Prime Minister, Imran Khan’s party, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and the video is a one from a press conference that took place last month. He continues,

“Don’t operate under the delusion that you are seven times better than us. What we have, you can’t have, you idol-worshippers.”

His derogatory and shameful comments did not go down well with Pakistani Hindus who took to Twitter to slam the politician.

I recall when @Fayazchohanpti engaged in anti-Ahmadi hate speech, labeling Pervez Rasheed "qadiani" with a specific derogatory connotation. There was no public outcry then. I am glad there is now. Hate against ANY Pakistani community must NOT be tolerated. #SackFayazChohan

I felt no difference at any stage , among anyone , Pakistan is damn good state for us.
