Hey guys! How’s it going? Struggling with midweek blues? Bored with your lives? Maybe this will cheer you up! Because there’s no way in hell that you can keep a straight face while looking at this ‘biscuit trophy’!
Feast your eyes on this ‘biscuit trophy’ which has been freshly baked created for the TUC Cup 2018, a T20 series between Pakistan and Australia.
The official Twitter handle of Pakistan Cricket Board shared photos of Pak captain Sarfraz Ahmed and Aussie captian Aaron Finch unveiling the (can we call it delicious?) trophy!

In case you missed the extremely SUBTLE branding, the series is called the TUC Cup, sponspored by TUC (cracker) biscuits. You’ll recognise them from their counterpart on the trophy!
Trolls and memes about the ‘biscuit trophy’ began popping up faster than you could say ‘cracker’!
It’s a legit biscuit. The brand paid somebody to design this trophy. The captains had to pose with a biscuit atop a ball. A biscuit. The winners will probably be celebrating by dousing the trophy in chai instead of spraying champagne all over it!
Nope. No photoshop involved.
This is not photoshop.
Repeat: This is not photoshop!
This is an actual cricket trophy. pic.twitter.com/nbr2cjp9WE

We’re trying to imagine what the client brief for this one was like….
Organizer: "The series is 'Tuc Cup'. I need something on the trophy that goes with it?"
Cricket-crippled Designer: "something that goes with a cup? Like a cup of tea?
…
Say no more!"#PAKvAUS #BiscuitTrophy #biscuitgate pic.twitter.com/j3AFdrxyaL— Gunjan Kalita (@gunjankalita) October 24, 2018
You don’t say!
That’s just a terribly embarrassing trophy https://t.co/znL7QVhm6p

How not to brand 101!#MarketingFail https://t.co/KkvfNGYcdK

Can you imagine this alternate scenario with a different brand? The horror!
Worst trophy design ever 🏆 👎
Thanks GOD that Pampers do not Sponsor this series.
I am still thinking about the combination of the ball & biscuit. #PakvAus pic.twitter.com/jmux5fBoDP

The trophy was so ridiculous that even ICC couldn’t help but troll it. TWICE!
Giving taking the biscuit a whole new meaning! https://t.co/YA1B7O3lUk

ICC’s meme game be so on point!
You vs the trophy she told you not to worry about. pic.twitter.com/DUGWKWFTbE

Of course, as is the way of the world, there were a few peeps who took offense.
Some were trying to be sarcastic, like this guy here….
'Dear ICC, how dare you make fun of our biscuit trophy?!' https://t.co/0IA9s6AgEa
— Ahmed (@azkhawaja1) October 23, 2018
But there were a few who were legit serious about a body like ICC trolling PCB on social media. And to them, a perfect reply was given!
Easy ho jaao Faizan. Iss Trophy ka mazaaq nahin agar uraa tha ICC (or anyone) toh it would be dereliction of duty. I mean look at it. It’s a biscuit for gods sake. https://t.co/1UU9mnrcYe

It is a biscuit for crying out loud!
Oh well, at least tea break during the matches will be fun!
