Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the consequent economic slowdown, many companies have been forced to lay off employees and freeze hiring. However, the silver lining is that there are still some firms who are inviting applications from potential job seekers.
According to Mirror UK, a luxury homeware and furniture brand is looking for a “Comfort Connoisseur” to sleep in their beds and provide feedback on factors like comfort, size, aesthetic, durability, and general experience.
NewsHub quoted Nick Moutter, the founder of the company saying,
“At Olivia’s, we have a genuine passion not just for quality, but also for fashion, and this is why finding someone with an eye for detail and aesthetics is so important. Anybody can lie on a bed and sleep, we want someone who can analyze the experience and provide detailed feedback that will serve our community of interior-obsessed customers.”
The best part is that this job can be completed from home as the company will deliver at least two beds a month for the Comfort Connoisseur to review. Product and shipping costs will be borne by the brand and the salary would be £60 an hour (Rs.5500 approximately).
Anyone who is over 18 years of age and does not suffer from sleep conditions like sleep apnea can submit applications by May 29, 2020. Being a sleep expert sounds too good to be true but it definitely is a legit job. Would you consider applying?
