Kindness has the potential to take humanity a long way and the ones who act selflessly to help others inspire others to act the same way. Such an act of kindness transpired in New York where a morning jogger gave away his sneakers and socks to a homeless man and walked away barefoot.
The video was posted by a Twitter user and was recorded in the morning near the WTC area of New York. She captioned the video saying, “It was 9am in the WTC area, I watched as a jogger took off his sneakers, gave them to a homeless man, & walked the NYC streets barefoot.”
The viral video shows an elder guy walking away from a man sitting on the street. Wearing a t-shirt and shorts, it seems like the man was out on a jog where he noticed the homeless man.

Apparently, the jogger removed his sneakers and socks to give them to him. Later, the two continued to talk for a little while before the man walked away barefooted. The woman who tweeted it added a befitting caption that read, “Our character is what we do when we think nobody is looking.”
This heartwarming video garnered more than 135,000 views and over 15,000 likes. Also in more than 3,000 retweets, people shared how beautiful they found the video to be. Some people also tweeted of their own experiences with good Samaritans.
My dad did this years ago when I was about 12. Hard wet December weather in Ireland , he took his shoes, his coat and his hat scarf and gloves off and gave them and €100 to a homeless man, then went and bought him 10 pairs of socks and a huge blanket. Ive never ever forgotten it

I once saw a rich looking older guy on the train in Portland quietly give his gloves to a homeless man. "Do you have gloves?". "No." "Here." It's been ten years and I still cry with joy whenever I think about it. This world is beautiful and worth fighting for.

Once in a while in NYC someone does something beautiful for someone else. It's rare unfortunately but when it does happen it makes all the negative crap I see out there go away for a while. I love to see this.

integrity – definition: doing the right thing, when no one is there to watch you do it.

May God bless all three of you, for the jogger's kind heart, the homeless humble acceptance, and to you for sharing what would have otherwise been an unknown token of humankind… 🤗🤗🤗❤
