Eat, sleep, play, repeat and yeah recite a few rhymes, that’s what a nursery class kid is supposed to do normally, isn’t it? Well, at least this is what we have all grown up doing. Our days in kindergarten were some of the most carefree days in school life. Probably because, there was no fear of punishment, no peer pressure, and no sense of competition or need to score the first rank in exams.
But things have changed now!
A school in Hyderabad has put up huge billboards of toppers in the city. That should have been no big deal as most of the schools and coaching centers do this to encourage students to secure top ranks in an examination.
But Priya Bharti High School went way too far as they decided to put up a billboard of ‘Nursery toppers’ in the city. A Twitter user posted a picture of the hoarding which has gone viral on social media.

Are they not violating children's rights to privacy by openly displaying images like this? There are many schools on @Facebook which also posts the photos of school events with children & keeps the link 'public'. .@RealMediaCrooks @AmitShah @smritiirani @nsitharaman .@NCPCR_

Just reducing the little Children to Rats. Preparing for the race where they will fail miserably in life. Taking away their childhood by such displays. It affects the psyche of parents which will be passed on to kids.

Pre-primary is time for the kids to prep up for their academic lives, make new friends and get used to the environment of school with classrooms and a few books. Let’s give them space and time they
