Nose pins have been a part of the traditional Indian ensemble since times immemorial. Though lately it’s been more of a fashion statement for most. Nose pins and rings are what you need to bring your classic get up perfect to the T.
The #NosePinTwitter has been blowing up and becoming a rage in the last couple of days. It all started with one tweet at the behest of one woman. Twitter user Tanzila talking about the fad to NDTV said,
People, post your amazing nose studs and rings under the hashtag #NosepinTwitter from now please. Issued in public interest. Please RT.
— Tanzila Anis. (@aaliznat) October 14, 2017
“I love nose pins. I always have. And of late I have had several women come up to me and ask me where I get mine and how seeing someone wear nice unique nose pins makes them want to get one too.”
She didn’t realise how many responses her one tweet will garner. And was overwhelmed with the responses she got.
