North Korea as a place has always been more of a question mark in terms of both politics and people. Their alienation from the rest of the world has led them to become a peculiar place in front of the rest of the world.

As per a report by BBC, keeping the spirit of their peculiarity alive, North Korea has recently decided to switch to their own time zone, in another effort to break away from the world imperialism.

Till now, they were following the same time zone as South Korea and Japan which is nine hours ahead of the Greenwich Mean Time (GMT). However, from August 15, their clocks will be put back by 30 minutes.

This isn’t the first time North Korea has done something that rest of the world doesn’t understand. There are many rules in North Korea that will leave you wondering, what the hell were they thinking!
