Nora Fatehi Speaks Of Working In Bollywood, Getting Bullied & Duped For ₹20 Lakh!

Making a mark in Bollywood isn’t a cakewalk, especially for those who don’t have a Godfather in the industry. Commonly termed as ‘outsiders’, these actors have somehow mustered up the courage to come forward and open up about the hardships they face in the entertainment industry.

The latest celebrity, who recently spilled the beans on her tough journey in Bollywood is Nora Fatehi. Nora has some blockbuster item numbers like Saki Saki and Dilbar in her kitty. She is a Canadian actress and dancer, she opened up about how she was bullied for her poor Hindi when she entered Bollywood in a recent interview.

“I started learning Hindi but the auditions were very traumatic for me. I wasn’t really mentally prepared and I made a fool of myself,” she said.

“People were really unforgiving. They wouldn’t just be mean, they would laugh in front of my face as if I’m some circus. They would bully me. It was humiliating. I used to cry while traveling back to my home. There was this one casting agent who once told me, ‘We don’t need you here. Go back’. I’ll never forget that,” she added.

Nora also said that she was duped for Rs 20 lakh that she’d earned through some ad shoots. The modeling agency that duped her was the one that was behind her coming to India.

She also shared that when she first came to Mumbai, she shared an apartment with 8 girls, one of them stole her passport because of which Nora had to return back to Canada.

On the work front, Nora will be next seen in John Abraham starrer Batla House. The film is due on August 15. She will also be seen sharing the silver screen with Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor in Street Dancer 3.
